Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Debian/RedHat based) and Windows Server administration
  • SysOps experience AWS with cloud platform
  • Experience managing user accounts, role-based access, and enforcing access policies across systems.
  • Implemented and maintained SSO solutions using SAML or OIDC protocols (Okta, Keycloak)
  • Setup and configure tools like Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience in access logging, auditing, and reporting for compliance and security monitoring
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls)
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and basic orchestration (e.g., Docker Compose, Kubernetes basics)
  • Ability to implement and manage security best practices (user access control, patch management, backup & recovery, SSL/TLS, firewall rules)
  • Experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Scripting skills for automation (Bash/Python)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Ansible, Terraform – optional but nice to have)
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (GitLab CI)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independlls (e.g., maintaining internal knowledge base or runbooks)
  • Intermediate English level
  • Strong documentation ski higher (for communication and documentation)
  • Experience in managing hybrid cloud & on-premise infrastructures
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, or other compliance-related practices
  • Previous experience supporting software engineering teams
Responsibilities:
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux and Windows servers (on-premise and/or cloud-based)
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with security best practices
  • Monitoring system performance, availability, and security using tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, or Prometheus
  • Performing regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure infrastructure reliability and compliance
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
  • Administering and maintaining network infrastructure including routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Automating routine administrative tasks using scripts (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
  • Supporting and improving CI/CD infrastructure in collaboration with DevOps or engineering teams (if applicable)
  • Managing and maintaining virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, or Hyper-V)
  • Ensuring system security through endpoint protection, firewall configuration, and monitoring for vulnerabilities
  • Creating and maintaining internal documentation (e.g., setup guides, SOPs, runbooks)
  • Participating in incident response and root cause analysis when outages or security issues occur
  • Collaborating with developers, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth infrastructure operations
