Goal 4. Quality Education

“Get ready to school” project

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has joined our initiative and supported the “get ready to school” project! With 335 reposts, together, we have made a significant impact on the lives of children. We were able to collect and hand over everything necessary for education to:

40 children in an eco-settlement for internally displaced people (IDP) in Vinnytsia region, Ukraine
35 children from an orphanage “Living Pearl” in the Kirovohrad region, Ukraine
more than 400 IDP children in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine

Currently, we are extending our support to displaced people in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In their time of need, we strive to provide essential household items like bedding, dishes, curtains, small household appliances, and hygiene products.

Goal 3. Good Health and Wellbeing

Medicine for 11 hospitals

Since Ukraine got under a full-scale invasion, we witnessed a significant surge in the costs of essential medications. In response, we took proactive measures across multiple platforms, including social media, and gathered the support of volunteers and donors in an extremely short time period. Together, we raised substantial funds to procure crucial medical equipment such as vacuum pumping and coagulating machines, which were sent to 11 hospitals.

We were assured those machines would have become a life/death battle-winning token for someone, and it is heart-warming to know that our collective efforts made someone’s life continue.

Goal 3. Good Health and Wellbeing

€120,000 worth of medicine and fully operational dental facility

At the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, Talando initiated its philanthropic journey by collaborating with a dedicated volunteer who has been actively involved in humanitarian work since 2014.

Working alongside this volunteer, we launched a fundraising campaign, successfully accumulating an impressive €120,000 within the first two months. These funds were utilised to procure essential medicines.

In moments of critical need, when securing specific medications proved challenging, Talando Agency displayed remarkable agility. They collaborated with a German surgeon, originally hailing from Ukraine, ensuring that the life-saving medication, Euthyrox, reached those who needed it most.

Expanding their impact further, generous associates in Germany donated dental equipment, a gesture that deeply resonated with the agency’s mission. These supplies were promptly transported to Ukraine, where they were used to establish a fully operational dental facility, providing much-needed care to the local community.
